Welcome and Thank You Coaches!

Thank you for volunteering to coach youth soccer for EYAA! We would not be able to have this program without you! As EYAA Soccer Directors, our focus is on giving you the tools to help teach players about the game, and in supporting you throughout the season.

Kerry McDermott, Epping High School Boys Soccer coach, will be holding coaches training sessions prior to the start of the season to go over the EYAA soccer curriculum and prepare coaches for the upcoming soccer season. Please look out for information regarding these Coaches Training Sessions, which will be posted here and to Facebook.

Mike O'Neil, Epping High School Girls Soccer coach and his wonderful players will be assisting with Grassroots program this season. We are sure the children will love to have the "big kids" helping them learn soccer skills.

A special thank you also goes to Stacy Hedstrom for her assistance with this website's development and in helping develop the new soccer program you will see this 2025 season.

It is highly encouraged for EYAA soccer coaches to take the FREE "Introduction to Grassroots Coaching" (the first link below) prior to the start of the season. This training video takes approximately 20 minutes to watch. The "Heads Up" video is strongly recommended. (Link 2)

EYAA Curriculum

In 2025, our youth soccer program is excited to implement a structured soccer curriculum to help players develop their skills in a more consistent, engaging, and age-appropriate way. By introducing a curriculum, we aim to provide coaches with clear guidance and resources, ensuring all players receive quality instruction and opportunities for growth- both technically and tactically. This approach also promotes long-term development, fun, and a positive team environment for every athlete, no matter their experience level.
